Step By Step…

From East London, take the N2 to King Williams Town. After King Williams, turn off onto the R63 towards Alice. 56km along that road, take the R345 to Hogsback. Follow signs to Away with the Fairies.
From PE, take the N2 to Grahamstown. After Grahamstown, follow the R67 to Fort Beaufort. Drive through Fort Beaufort to Alice. 4km after Alice, take the R345 to Hogsback. Follow signs to Away with the Fairies.

From Cathcart, take the R345 (dirt road) toward Hogsback. This road is about 50km’s and usually suitable for all cars. May be a bit rough after lots of rain. Do not take the “Happy Valley” detour.
